I've worked in the halls of education for decades, and the communist infiltration of our schools and society has been aggressive the entire time.
In the late 1990s, this writer took a position teaching history, government, and economics in a New York City public high school. After only two weeks, word circulated that I was a born-again evangelical and politically conservative. One of the senior teachers called me aside and, without any prior argument, said, "Communism is over in the Soviet Union, but it's alive and well at this high school." Shortly after that "welcome," it became apparent that many of the U.S. history teachers were hardcore communists. (This is decades before so-called "wokism.")
Howard Zinn's best-selling communist textbook was not included on the list of high school textbooks because it was a college textbook, but nevertheless, this cell of commies would regularly copy pages out of Zinn's book, A Peoples' History of the United States, for distribution to the U.S. History students.
The commie hostility toward people of faith was also manifested in that department. The thought that people of faith and people who don't believe can co-exist is alien to Marxists, for whom "religion is the opiate of the people." The left feels threatened by the First Amendment, which leftists believe unduly encourages people to believe in God and thereby takes away from a more realistic assessment of life where one is able to see the class struggle as our top social and political priority. On one occasion, a young female teacher began moving around in front of me in the teachers' office, taunting me by singing, "I don't have a soul, I don't have a soul." Another older left-winger called to me from across the teachers' office,

If the communists believe in anything spiratual, in my experience they would prefer to believe there is a satan.
I remember 30 years ago people would say “communism is alive and well in the U.S.”
Yes, sadly it was true.
Communism is a religion.
When I was in high school, my social studies teacher from ‘02-’05 was a die hard feminist commie. She showed Michael Moore’s mockumentaries in class as if the information they contained was true, and allowed us to use only certain sources for class assignments (mainstream media, specifically). She didn’t like me calling her out on her view points.
She was also the girls’ soccer coach, and was pregnant durung one year. When she announced it was a boy, I thought, “God, that poor kid...”
I’m sure it’s far worse now. My freshman year social studies teacher was awesome, though. We watched Soylent Green in his class. It was great.

Thank you for posting this. Communism IS a religion with believers who have no god except communism, and the Devil.
And it’s more true today. We’re on the precipice of history. Do we jump into the evil abyss of Marxism or turn and fight? Communism and all its forms should be illegal and crushed. I’m done with trying to be fair and conciliatory.Freedom of speech does not apply with evil. The commies are like a poisonous viper. You chop its head off.
They need to wear caps saying, “Make America Venezuela.”
Outlaw public unions. Let’s go Brandon!
That reminds me back in 85 my oldest son was in kindergarten and the school passed out mimeographed pictures of MLK on his birthday. My son drew a lot of blood coming out of Martin’s neck and they called me in to explain, thinking I was a racist of course. But my son heard from someone else how Martin was assassinated and with youthful innocence drew how he died. That was an experience in the first days of communist interrogation.

Modern schools demands very little from students; books, paper even pencils are provided as needed, students need not be punctual or even present to succeed.
And if a student choses - with such low standards one has difficulty failing - to fail through non-performance, an individual teacher aide and modified curricula will be provided.
All together this teaches a child that effort is not required to achieve goals and, therefore, primed to be a dependent adult which is antithetical to a supposed meritocracy.
Add to that the poisonous notion of the 'sacred cow' status of people of color dividing students into oppressor/oppressed groups and you have a fertile soil for Communist class struggle.
Real public schools should come from the People, not government.

and free lunches ...
It took the Russians 70 years to get rid of Communism. Now we’re gonna have it here!
You are exactly correct. Especially this point:
“... All together this teaches a child that effort is not required to achieve goals and, therefore, primed to be a dependent adult ...”
It was all put in the Congressional Record in 1963 we all knew it but elected to do nothing, it appears that the Communists are succeeding, through the Demorat party.
