I’m viewing the replay right now. A couple of hours ago I went to 2 or 3 of England’s daily rags and there is a HUGE shit storm being reported there about the finish. Evidently Hambone and his team are filing protests and are really making a stink. I am sorry to say but they just might have a case regarding the lapped cars being allowed to pass the safety car, thus putting Max right on Hambone’s tail with no traffic to fight through, at the one lap to go restart. I am not up on this rule at all so we will see I guess.

the only difference i see is that the last few cars dint pass as per normal

if they had been allowed in a timely manner, the outcome may have been the same, but since they botched it, i truly think clearing the back markers btwn them was the best solution to a bad situation since i am deadset against ending on a caution

the fact the last few dint clear the SC made no difference in their points/payouts on finish so no harm/no foul there to anyone in front of them or behind them

ya gotta let-em race for the win, but that’s just me
