My lovely wife’s bumper-sticker diet:
“Moderation...Protein...Vegetables”
Sounds easy, but what is NOT on the bumper-sticker is the tough part.
NO WHITES: Flour, potatoes, sugar, pasta, etc. First thing to do is drop bread and sugar completely, and that is darn near impossible for me. But, if I simply stop eating bread and sugar and eat a moderate meal then I lose weight. Hang in thereāit’s a tough go.
I get that. Bread, potatoes and pizza are my kryptonite.
I just stay away from them and don’t even have a little taste of any of it for fear of breaking my diet.
