Agree! I used to read the Atlantic when it leaned left but covered a lot of topics in-depth and fairly. But with Obozo it went south and fast. I never picked up another issue after they anointed Zero a saint.
When I was in college, I visited a friend in NYC who had the New Yorker on her coffee table. I thought, “Looks good.” And it was. I still read it for the cartoons, which are still state-of-the-art. And when they stay away from politics, they are still OK. But they seldom do.
