I can’t rule that out. Nor can I rule out that the vaccine “immunity” contributes to a survival of the fittest for more virulent strains and mutations. I was just trying to walk through my read of how public officials may be thinking about it.

They have obviously engaged in a mass misinformation campaign all along. And from the day they introduced vaccines they misrepresented what the vaccines would do. They still keep claiming the unvaccinated are some kind of extra threat to the vaccinated but that is just false. Everyone with an active infection is a danger to everyone else.

meant to add this to “Everyone with an active infection is a danger to everyone else”, which means relaxing restrictions on the vaccinated to engage in public life make the vaccinated the super-spreaders to everyone else.
