That makes no sense at all.
The Great Depression and WW2 distorted the numbers for decades.
Now you have the massive bulge of Baby Boomers starting to clock out.
In any event, when the annual death toll increases almost 20X times above the average in one year, people need to ask questions and analyze the available data.
