My wife and I spent 5 days or so on a clients island home in Northern Michigan. After 2 days it was “well ready to go home” They are into boating skiing and fishing and we are not.
Takes you close to an hour toget to town after bringing a boat across, storing it and getting in your own car an reverse.
The house was broken into all the time while they are not there..mostly HS kids drinking ...but they have since hired a security guard caretaker who looks out for many of the local homes and stops by once a day randomly
