As someone who has recently had organ transplant surgery, I take drugs to suppress my immune system so as not to cause my new liver to be rejected.
I have had three shots of Moderna already, and I am not planning on getting a fourth.
Anti-rejection meds vs. immune system-boosting vaccine?
This feels like a tug-of-war I’m not sure I want to participate in.
I highly recommend The Conservative Review Podcast with Daniel Horowitz

In particular, I would call your attention to Episode 991 Guest: Dr. Richard Amerling on Nov. 11, 2021. Scroll down to see the episode, then click on it.
Dr. Amerling is a board certified internist & nephrologist. Toward the latter part of the podcast, Daniel was asking Dr. Amerling about the “immuno compromised”, in particular kidney transplant patients, because he deals with those.
Listen to his comments/recommendation(s) ... you should hear it from him, not me.
Best wishes ... ~Q
“I have had three shots of Moderna already, and I am not planning on getting a fourth.”
One of our basically very healthy sons in his early 50’s probably had this crud about 1 year ago, (12/20). He lost 35+ pounds and was puny for about 2 months. He, then had his Moderna shots (2) in mid Jan and early Feb this year and he felt miserable for a couple of more weeks.
Just, before this Thanksgiving, he got his 1st Moderna Booster shot, and he has not been able to go back to work since then. Basically, his symptoms this year, were a re run of his last year’s pre and post Moderna shots.
Finally, last week, he was somewhat back to normal and will try to go back to work part time if he passes the home test next Monday. His company provides the tests, free of any charges. He has to pass to return to work.
He will not get another Moderna booster. We feel that he probably should not get any more so called boosters.
