There’s a good example today of why Trump will have a hard time winning an election.
Instead of saying General Miley was an “idiot,” he injected the f-word in front of “idiot”.

I don’t condone cursing, and it’s not part of our discourse with family and friends. I do, however, realize that this is the way many people feel free to express strong feelings these days, and as much as I don’t care for it, I laughed when President Trump said that. Contrary to what you said, I actually think this brings him MORE votes. He’s authentic and people love him for it.
I don’t use that word myself, but I would still say that it is a perfect description of Milley.

That style of rhetoric is one reason he was elected in 2016. Like it or not, it’s common vernacular now and real people can relate — and they did.
It’s better and more honest than that insipid “my good friend across the aisle” crap. We’ve had enough of that, playing footsie with the enemy. This is war.
