ABC News reporter Mary Alice Parks asked President Biden Friday about how the U.S. is responding to potential escalations in the years-long Russia-Ukraine conflict.
"I have been in constant contact with our allies in Europe and the Ukrainians," he said.
"What I am doing is putting together what I believe will be the most comprehensive and meaningful set of initiatives to make it very, very difficult for Mr. Putin to go ahead and do what people are worried he may do," Biden said. "That's in play right now."

Brandon told Putin that in case of Russia invasion there will be numerous protests in most American cities accompanied by mostly peaceful riots and fairly light-hearted looting. That should create a major problem to Putin’s evil plans.

LEAVE IT ALONE. It’s not our problem! Russia is moving troops around within its own country, which it is allowed to do. It’s like us moving a bunch of soldiers to the Mexican border, and the rest of the world thinking we’re about to invade Mexico. We HAVE been having serious issues with our national security as a result of that border being so wimpy. I’m sure someone somewhere thinks it’s a good idea.
As I also understand it, a number of Baltic states requested repatriation to Russia and were denied, Ukraine amongst them. Well, we’re seeing the results of that now.
If the Ukrainians want to buy arms and armor, fine. But we should not get involved any further.
I should have suspected that Biden is French.
