:”The Donald’s bellicose temper...”

__________

Yeahhhh, I don’t know about that.

The Donald seems actually to have a very long fuse.

Everyone subject to the stain of Original Sin reaches their limit occasionally and the steam starts to flow.

But there are so many instances I’ve observed since 2015 in which The Donald kept his cool for so much longer than, for example, I could possibly have done, in fact, usually long enough to cause his persecutors to suffer more or less the same fate as that of the Russian attack sub commander and his doomed crew in The Hunt for Red October. (You arrogant ass—you’ve killed us!)

George Washington was meek. Meekness, in its best embodiment, constitutes enormous power and potential for destructive action, magnificently controlled so as to minimize waste and injustice, and maximize the chances for obtaining a good outcome for all involved.

Your mileage may (and apparently does) vary, but in this way, I would say Trump is very much like Washington.

Interesting read on Washington. From what I have gleaned through the reading of history books Washington, while measured in attitude, was ferocious in the application of his policies.

Mr. Trump’s ego, in my most humble opinion, gets in the way of his greatness. If that makes any sense.

As a historical note, it was my reading and re-reading and ruminating of George Washington’s Farewell address that brought me to the point of supporting Donald Trump by both vote and donations exceeding all the donations made throughout my entire life to other candidates.

For it was George Washington who warned us, quite firmly, not to place our allegiance with Political Party’s and then spelling out the disaster of instituting career politicians.

When Trump came into the picture, a non political man but successful businessman, my support for him was not in question.

I have come to the conclusion, after following politics for nealy 60 years now that success in the private sector does not necessarily translate into success as being President and “Leader” of all the people.

Any way thanks for the reply.
