I guess I just don’t understand that mindset.

It brings that quote to mind, which has come often to my mind lately:

"We know they are lying, they know they are lying, they know we know they are lying, we know they know we know they are lying, but they are still lying."

It disturbs me that this quote has become so prominent in my mind lately, and not a reference to some long-dead communist state.

It worries me more than I can say, TigersEye.
