There is a compilation of the data in South Africa that is less upbeat.

They are seeing a lot of mild symptoms, but the vast majority of their samples are university students outright or of that age. They do not have hardly any elderly samples. With or without vax, the young typically don’t die. The elderly is a different story.

The whole reason for jumping on this variant quickly was the number of mutations in the spike protein were very likely to evade immunity — either natural or vax type. It doesn’t even need time for the immunity to erode. So this is not much of a surprise.

It all comes down to deaths in the older samples, as they accumulate. The 68 year old in New York went symptomatic today.

Garbage in — Garbage out. It is not a serious study, just pure propaganda to fraudulently claim that people with natural immunity will need to get vaccinated.
