All these article are just propaganda either from the left or right, depending whose view there is. While the one woman in this thread was very unhappy, here is one from a women last year who thought it was great:

It irritates me that we are beating each other up when both the USA and Oz are having our problems and China just takes advantages of this. The PRC does indeed put out a lot of anti-Australian propaganda every day as we have been the country leading the opposition to the PRC over the Hong Kong takeover, the investigations of the Covid origins, protecting Taiwan, keeping them our of Asian trade alliances and kicking many PRC out of Australia who were infiltrating the government and universities.

Thank you. I saw that one, and another, also.
The internment camp resources seem to be better than housing in covid hotel with no windows, all artificial lighting, with no personal contact with another human.
Here in the States, such treatment is reserved for disciplinary punishment in our penal system.
Such housing represents a significant difference between Australia and the USA as to how people are treated.
