I try to imagine conservative equivalents to Kimmel and Fallon. They would also be Not Funny. Hateful, sanctimonious and uncreative is not very appealing, except to maybe some of the more strident idealogues.
Fallon/Kimmel haven’t been funny...ever. In Carson’s shadow, 3rd rate humor.
With Gutfeld, he does have regulars who perk up the show. This guy with the ‘champion-belt’ (can’t remember his name)...he actually says a lot of common sense stuff.
