The kids, from very little on, have always loved Bavarian Wedding Soup. It was primarily for the dumplings but they were fascinated by the tiny Nuremburg style bratwurst too as we normally only eat the regular fat style ones. Had to always be from scratch and no shortcuts.
When Pa was alive I used to make Coburg potatoe dumplings to go with his ochsenzunge. Havent done that in years either.
Now Ive got the bug.
