Justice Department tells court ‘Alternative Mueller Report’ found and may soon be released

[NO THIS IS NOT THE BABYLON BEE. IT’S ANDREW WEISSMAN!]

The so-called “Alternative Mueller Report” mentioned in a book by Andrew Weissmann, a top prosecutor for special counsel Robert Mueller’s Trump-Russia investigation, has been found, according to the Department of Justice.

U.S. Attorney Damian Williams of the Southern District of New York said in a Thursday evening filing in federal court that the Justice Department “has located and begun processing this record and intends to release all non-exempt portions … once processing is complete.”

I just happened to see this I today, just copying a little bit:

The Weissmann Sub-Dossier Surfaces
Mark Wauck

Clinton legal consigliere Andrew Weissmann came out with his memoirs of Team Mueller in book form in September of 2020. The book is somewhat ambiguously titled: “Where Law Ends: Inside the Mueller Investigation.” No doubt Weissmann knew what he meant by that, although my point of view would be that where the law ended is where the Mueller investigation began. Meaning, the Mueller investigation began when any predication for a legitimate investigation of Trump ended. Revelations regarding Igor Danchenko, in John Durham’s indictment, lend powerful support to that interpretation (which I’ve maintained from the beginning).

You can access past posts regarding Weissmann generally here. More specifically regarding Weissmann’s book, I wrote this post—which is a review of Shipwreckedcrew’s review of a Weissmann interview:

And Cates’ comments (I found the above link on his Telegram):

Weissmann tried to insert his own ‘sub-dossier’ into the Mueller report and Zebley kept it out. And Weissmann has been on the warpath against him ever since.

Here’s your reminder that -as @SidneyPowell details in her book “License To Lie”, Weissmann has a penchant for creating crimes out of thin air and then charging people for them. His doing that in the Enron case led to a 9-0 reversal of all his convictions on appeal. That should have been the end of his career.

So it seems that when the actual Mueller Report had to stick to the provable facts in it’s summary of what it found, Weissmann went off with his own team and created his own ‘sub-dossier’ in which he put a lot of stuff that is unsubstantiated. So he wasn’t allowed to include it. And now it might be published.
