Not to pile on here. Four counts of manslaughter are serious charges. They are both are going to get federal firearms charges, as will the gun store. I held a FFL license. I’m sure the store will be soon if not already getting a visit from the FBI and ATF. They will be looking at a straw purchase. In Michigan, when you purchase a hand gun, the seller has to complete a RI060 pistol sales record. It records who the purchaser is and details of the hand gun. It is submitted to the Michigan State Police. That form was completed fraudulently per the mother own social media posts. This is a horrible situation. If only they took the kid out of school or at least checked the backpack.
