Alec Baldwin wept as he described accidentally shooting dead his cinematographer on the set of his film Rust during an interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos.

He insists that he never pulled the trigger but said it appeared to inexplicitly fire on its own.
'The trigger wasn't pulled, I didn't pull the trigger,' he said, often having to pause to collect himself, or wipe away a tear.
'I would never point a gun at anyone at point a trigger at them, never.'
It's not yet known why the weapon was loaded with a real bullet.
'Someone put a live bullet in the gun - a bullet that wasn't even supposed to be on the property,' Baldwin said.

To be fair I have handled weapons that had such a hair trigger that I accidentally fired them just barely putting my finger on it. Me no like.

If it was a single-action revolver, someone had to cock the hammer and then someone had to pull the trigger. It doesn’t work any other way.

Baldwin’s lawyer approved the interview and coached him what to say.
Baldwin’s lawyer’s defense will be “No one witnessed Baldwin pull the trigger”.
The witnesses have only said they heard the gun go off, but didn’t see Baldwin pull the trigger.
Gee, this photo reminds me of his crocodile tears in the movie, “It’s Complicated.” George’s wife was also in that movie. I can’t see Georgie conducting an interview that would put Alec in a negative light.

The witnesses will be asked if they witnessed Baldwin pull the trigger and they will say no. They only heard it. The fix is in with the Soros DA.

The dead lady and the injured dude would be an obvious exception - unless since they’re not in FRONT of the camera they are not “anyone” (of consequence).
