The OSHA ETS states;

“This section does not require the employer to pay for any costs associated with testing; however employer payment for testing may be required by other laws, regulations, or collective bargaining agreements or other collectively negotiated agreements.”

In my state any medical cost incurred to obtain or retain employment must be born by the employer. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. That’s why my previous employer is bluffing employees into getting vaccinated, they say they want vaccinations at 100%. There’s a labor contract involved, which means any change must be bargained. It’s all in limbo now but there’s no way employees will have to pick up the cost of testing if they choose to not be vaccinated.

That may be in your state, in your company, with your labor agreement, but I would be surprised if that were widespread.

I work in an industry where that won’t even be an option.
