and Oregon ... one time I forgot about that, more or less knocked the poor kid over as I got out to pump my gas. I had just driven up from Winnemucca NV to Burns OR and it was quite late at night, not a soul around, and I plain forgot about the Oregon ways. Sorry kid.

I try to do it every time unless i plan poorly and run low while passing through NJ. It just feels creepy having some strange guy pump gas into my car.

Your not in Pennsylvania or have someone else pump your gas or were you being silly? I think there are 2 states that require professional gas pumpers. I don’t know of a full service station near me. Curious what your comment was intending to be.

If you drove an electric car, then you wouldn't have that problem. Additionally, your chauffeur wouldn't smell like gasoline.
