My daughter does her best to practice vegan diet. Must admit some of the dishes she prepares are incredibly delicious. BUT, she love brie and sushi, so she cannot really wear the vegan label :)
That said, due to a desire to eat healthier, I’ve been practicing 1 wk. vegan, 1 wk. vegetarian, 1 wk. Pescatarian, then 1 wk. whatever the heck I please and back around the circle again. I LOVE a good crock pot of chili and found those veggie burgers that look as if they’ve been grilled are actually fabulous as a substitute for ground beef in chili. Now, I would never do that to dinner guests, but if prepared with the fact in mind it is NOT MEAT and not supposed to ever take it’s place, the flavor is honestly not bad at all. The veggie sausage is quite nice in veggie soup too...
Last week was Thanksgiving, and last night I had Mexican, so try to guess which of the 4 wks I’m doing twice this month LOL.
