CAVEAT:

“It needs to be determined whether such protection against severe disease at reinfection lasts for a longer period, analogous to the immunity that develops against other seasonal ‘common-cold’ coronaviruses, which elicit short-term immunity against mild reinfection but longer-term immunity against more severe illness with reinfection.

If this were the case with SARS-CoV-2, the virus (or at least the variants studied to date) could adopt a more benign pattern of infection when it becomes endemic.”

After excluding approximately 87,500 people with a vaccination record, researchers found that those with immunity due to having recovered from COVID-19 had little risk of reinfection or severe cases of the disease.

I would be very interested in learning more about the condition of those who were both recovered and vaxxed.

Did the vax actually lessen their protection? Or result in "complications?"

Just a letter to the editor, not the actual study.

Although it does support many other studies showing how good natural immunity is. A no brainer that the CDC conveniently ignores in their push for the vaccine.

C19 may soon mutate to make the vaccine increasingly less effective. COVID-19’s mutation rate is about 20% of that of influenza.....thus not quite as dramatic as flu.

Waiting for CDC to advise that dead people could become infected and should be vaccinated one last time, after all it’s for Pfizer bottom line and Politicians’ beach house. Who would deny a politician their beach house? It’s for more growth in the economy after all...
