Face it, the SEC Championship game IS the National Championship game. Just sucks that whoever wins will be limping into the National Championship against... whichever team.

Florida beating florida state puts 13 of their 14 of the SEC conference teams in a bowl game.
(adding OU & Texass would leave the horns & vandy as the only 2 teams to not go bowling + adds OU as a perpetual playoff contender)
imo, every saturday match up in the SEC is like playing a bowl game.
personally the great thing about the college play off system is it sets up a lot of rivalries & controversy (that carries over during the off season over a cold one at happy hour) over who has the best team, or who has the toughest schedule, or who’s team is a pretender.
makes the college game a lot more interesting than watching the kneelers.
