This is the classic “five stages of grief”.

The Salvation Army had a well deserved outstanding reputation for many many years.

They have just destroyed it by going woke—and then by trying to lie about it.

So—many Freepers first are in denial.

When they finally “get it” they will be angry.

Then bargaining, depression, acceptance.

Life is easier if you move quickly to the last step.

This breaks my heart. In 2003 when a hurricane took our house and everything inside, SA was the only group that came by our street with hot meals for us. I have given to them every since. No United Way or Red Cross. They had there trailers set=up in a parking lot but you had to go there to get water etc. SA came to us.
I’m sad to say I will be putting a copy of their message in the Red bucket this year.
