Anyway. My point was, Reagan, Trump, and Wood, democrats all pre-awakening. Hell, I voted for Jimmy Carter and Jerry Brown the first time I voted. Many of us were stupid once upon a time.
Wood is now fighting the good fight. Don't hinder him. That's exactly what [theyl want. To cut off support for our fighters.
Reading this thread, listening to the argument, I said to myself, “I am not going to take sides on this. Here are two FReepers I highly regard as patriots who love our country. Though I fear I should just keep my thoughts to myself, I am going to go out on a limb and post these thoughts, for whatever it is worth (and pray I am forgiven if I tread where I should not).
The deep state is a skillful at keeping themselves out of any argument while they cause disagreement among conservatives, stir up hatred, stir up misunderstanding, suspicion, just as they stir up war. I can’t help but remember who God’s Word tells us is the “master” of provoking all of the above.
The more they divide us we weaker we become. We FReepers know how they divide the nation’s people, one race against another, men against women, rich against poor, and on and on. And now we are seeing them divide even the conservatives against other conservatives. This only makes us weaker.
Thus begs the question….. then if we just refuse to argue with each other, give up, how can that help our cause? Of course the answer it, “It does not help us!” So then what do we do? Hearing both sides of an argument is a good thing. Both sides backing up their statements with proven facts and sources is a good thing. But what to do if both sides present seemingly logical positions?
I’m thinking that we have to keep on delving for the truth without taking sides, without automatically deeming someone on one side or the other wrong about everything because they are found wrong about one thing. And I know this is not a solution to the problem of the deep state dividing us. I pray that perhaps more astute, resourceful FReepers than me can help us find an answer. Meanwhile let’s agree that both of the FReepers this post is addressed to are proven patriots and deserve our encouragement.
