It just shows that SUVs are much older than we thought.

“I don’t know what to believe.”

Not believing CNN is a good start.

the early warming suggests there might be a flaw in the models scientists use to predict how the climate will change...

Well, given the models complete failure to account for the lack of warming between 1998 and 2015 despite large increases in CO2 and other factors, that became calculably clear.

Most specifically, the earth has been on a warming trend since the 1880s. The models show that if the calculations were correct, there has only been enough CO2 to cause the effects they claim since the 1970s.

There goes the air out of AGW (did you hear it? lol).

That only means one thing:

This study must either disappear or be discredited.

Wait for it...

Francesco Muschitiello, an author on the study and assistant professor of geography at the University of Cambridge, said the findings were worrisome because the early warming suggests there might be a flaw in the models scientists use to predict how the climate will change...
I did a spit take all over the monitor when I read that. Twofer.

I would say that the Arctic Ocean has been ‘warming’ for at least the last 15-20 THOUSAND YEARS....................

Well, it's encouraging that some are looking at actual data versus computer models.

If they look hard enough they might find that the Arctic and indeed the entire planet has been warming since the end of the Younger Dryas. That's what my Ouija board says anyway.

And this is the 2d year in a row of more unmelted ice than the previous year. Also I saw an article of several ships already iced in due to this year’s coldness in the Artic region.

The researchers used marine sediments in the Fram Straight, where the Atlantic meets the Arctic east of Greenland, to reconstruct 800 years of data that paint a longer historical picture of how Atlantic water has flowed into the Arctic.

.... "The reconstructions suggest a substantial increase in the Atlantic Ocean heat and salt transport into the Nordic Sea at the beginning of the 20th century, which is not well simulated by (climate models)," Rong Zhang, a senior scientist at NOAA's Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory, who was not involved with the study, told CNN."
800 years makes a geological record?

A larger scale might be helpful:
