The data itself shows it isn't true. The vaccinated group would be weighted more heavily toward the older side of the 10-59 age range. The unvaccinated group would be weighted heavier to the lower end of the 10-59 age range.

Two can play at that game:

The vaxxed group might be two or three years older than the unvaxxed group. Their median age might be, say, 39 years - as opposed to, say, 37 years for the unvaxxed group.

Do you honestly think that an age-difference of a mere two or three years justifies a doubling of the mortality rate?

I looked at some mortality rates at a variety of ages and two genders. It took at least a 5 year age difference to double the rate.

What led you to a 2 year age difference?

Note that in addition to an age difference between the two groups, there could be a health difference. Unhealthy folks might very well tend to get vaccinated.

Further note that it’s difficult to conclude the vaccines are effective from this graph.
