I agree with him. “Looting” is when mobs take advantage of riots and civil chaos to take goods.
These were highly orchestrated robberies by large criminal gangs.

I actually agree with him too. Looting happens when groups of people take advantage of a chaotic situation. This is organized robbery, plain and simple.
