The video catches the little monster/tiny suspect knocking on the door of a neighbors house to use the phone. What is Very important to me is what he says—I paraphrase:
“ I have a Uber driver ordered and I need to call him for my pick up”.
This makes so many things clear to me now and should be important to a court ( I’m not a lawyer): 1. He was of sane mind 2. He knew what he had done was horribly unlawful and was planning on fleeing 3. From #2 it is likely the act was premeditated. I assume he called the Uber before the mass killing
Additional questions what other dialog transpired on the tape? Does Uber record all calls and what did he say?
Will the prosecutor bother to search his phone?
Or has the FIB conveniently “lost” it yet?
This is turning out to be a really bizarre story.
bump
His demeanor and attempt to con the homeowner into hiding him from the police pursuit shows that he is a sociapathic mass killer who is incapable of empathizing with the little girls or grandmothers he intentionally murdered with his SUV. If there is any doubt that people are walking free who should have been incarcerated for life long ago this should convince even the most liberal honest person.
The lesson for me is that it is unacceptable for any civilization to allow people capable of this kind of horror to remain in the population. Waiting for them to kill our children is no longer a viable option.
A “racist” white guy took gave him shelter from the cold, made him a sammich and gave him a jacket to wear. No wonder he hates white people./sarc
Thanks! I was understanding that his passenger(s) were knocking on doors, but it is himself. He appears sober. That homeowner must be wondering what in heck just happened?
The Uber thing was a lie. That’s not how Uber works.
When did Lethal Crooks order the Uber and why couldn't he use the same phone to confirm or alter the order?
In an interview, Rider, who'd been away on a hunting trip and was watching football when the crash occurred, said he had no idea about what had just happened blocks away.
He said he invited Brooks inside and gave him a jacket, made him a sandwich and let him use his phone.
The old I'm homeless trick. Gets them suckers every time.
I think he was jonesing for a hostage ...
And another damn thing -- Lethal Crooks was supposed to be 'running from the police', but just meekly surrenders? Oh hell no. He was never 'running from the police'.
His Bubba BLuegMs buddy knows what happened:
"Vaun Mayes speculated that the attack which saw suspect Darrell Brooks Jr, 39, drive a car into a crowd of parade goers in Wisconsin on Sunday was the 'start of a revolution'.
Stranger danger 🤪
