One thing you learn rather quickly when you’re a cop is that, at their core, criminals are some of the most selfish people you will ever encounter.
Everything is theirs. They can take it, by any means they want, if you don’t give it to them. They can do anything they want to get away.
Their selfishness comes down to one thing.....I will do anything I have to, to get away with the crime I just committed. Even if that means a car chase or driving into a group of innocent people marching in or watching a Christmas parade. It does not matter, they were all in my way.
This man needs to exercise his right to a quick and speedy trial and upon conviction, go straight in front of a firing squad where surviving family members can have the option of being on it.
There is one aspect about the Chinese justice system that is very laudable: as soon as the guilt is determined, the criminal is immediately executed as in taken out behind the courthouse and shot.
We need to do the same; if this were done on a regular basis, the crime rate would drop like a rock.
