SANTIAGO, Chile (AP) — Two onetime outsiders hailing from opposite extremes of the political spectrum received the most votes Sunday in Chile’s presidential election but failed to garner enough support for an outright win, setting up a polarizing runoff in the region’s most advanced economy.

Ok my friends this news is bigger than the MSM cares to cares to cover. The runoff will be Dec. 19 and the (far)right winger(per msm) should hopefully win. The lefty is young bearded pretty boy who will always be around to woo the women and the gullibles. We need this open fight and with policies based on the Pinochet-themed Chicago boys. The last one named Pinera was a wimp per the author and kinda reminds me of W putting up with his his back stabber 'allies.' Pinera's brother reformed their pension system, something we should definitely emulate. The country's recent history would suggest the choice is clear. No putting up with lawbreaking. Bottom up conservatism. We'll see.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either opinion, or satire. Or both.)

*this news is bigger than the MSM cares to cares to cover.*
Why cover it when someone in an SUV runs over a parade? Man-bites-dog is more noteworthy. Princess Di’s death was more noteworthy than that of Mother Teresa. Both died within days of each other.
*Is that really the AP headline?* One is American Thinker. The other Real Clear Politics.

But just up the coast from Chile, the Peruvians elected an outright communist. As if their experiences with “Shining Path” weren’t enough!
