Why, because some internet nerd said so and called it a law? People that quote 'Godwin's law' are well on the road to becoming those people who get in the rail cars. All they need to do now is say, 'bah'.
Now observe as I win this argument while breaking Godwin's fake law.
First, you have a right to patronize another store with different policies or to not patronize any of them at all. People had no choice on whether or not to be relocated to a death camp.
And tell me, Hitler. What do we do when all the stores do what the government tells them to do. Is starvation another way of fighting fascism?
People had no choice on whether or not to be relocated to a death camp.
I guess you missed the part about me saying there's always a choice. For example, I could have chosen to tell the Nazis to GFT when they showed up at my door in the first place and died right there. I could have chosen to let them shoot me down in the street for not wearing the yellow badge. I could have organized an underground guerilla cell and gone down in a blaze of righteous glory.
Or I coulda thrown a b*tch fit in the middle of Costco. So you see, rabbit. There are many choices to be made before one is herded into a death camp.
Secondly, you don't defeat fascism with fascism. You defeat it with a free people demanding their freedom and RESPECTING OTHER PEOPLES' FREEDOM.
Sorta like that Costco patriot did? I'll have to agree with you there. BTW, respecting fascism is not respecting other people's freedom. Its the opposite, in fact. Its respecting other people's squashing of freedom.
You defeat fascism by kicking it in it's ass. Ask Patton, he'll tell you. Say, didn't Neville Chamberlain 'respect other people's freedom'? Yes, I think he did.
If you don't know history, you're doomed to repeat it, my mama always said.
Let us hypothesize that you don't drink alcohol and do not approve of other people drinking alcohol. Let's then say I do like to have a drink from time to time (in moderation). You invite my family to your home for a barbecue. I bring a 6 pack of my favorite brew with me.
You are perfectly within your property rights to tell me to leave the beer in the car because you don't want your children exposed to it.
This is a fine example proving my point. ThankQ.
This was tried on a nationwide scale at one time in our history. We called it 'Prohibition'. 'Member? That was a form of fascism too, just like 'vax mandates'. But the people said GFY, government. We will not comply.
The people did not respect the 'property rights' of the government on this issue. Lives were lost in the conflict, as I recall.
Another. In 1776, the people did not respect the property rights of King George and told him to GFH. Again, lives were lost in the endeavor.
Some time later, the government this time, did not respect the property rights of slave states (other governments) and told them to GFT. More lives were lost in that conflict.
As you can see, your 'property rights' argument is falling apart. You do see that, right?
They are also forcing segregation in Austria, Germany, and, shortly, Italy and Croatia (how ironic is that??) Although it's scary and tragic, it's totally irrelevant.
How is it irrelevant? Its how people do unless they're checked, with force if necessary. And throwing fits in Costco is a first step.
You don't defeat fascism with fascism. You defeat fascism with freedom.
I refer you to the new law:
Patton's Law:
"You defeat fascism by kicking it in it's ass".
That is the law.
(see? I won the argument and while breaking Godwin's 'law').

Fair enough. So then the powers that be should zot me because I believe in property rights and that is not the conservative position.
Imagine being on FR for almost 20 years and finally being educated on that now.
No loss. I think I’ll just stick with my principals and enjoy my beach while the USDA burns to the ground.
