I always find these “Florida man/Florida woman” stories humorous but not why you’d think.....anyone who’s lived here for and length of time (and I have) knows florida IS NOT full of native Floridians.

I made that same comment one time around a bunch of people. One guy got all upset and told me he was from south Florida and I was full of crap....and he said it with the most obvious New York accent I’ve ever heard.
