So let me get this right. Back in 1975, some strangers come to a landfill worker and tell the worker they have the body of Jimmy Hoffa inside a drum and need him to bury it.... In New Jersey around 1975 that's not as implausible as you think. But I doubt the people doing the asking were as unknown as the story suggests. And the request may have come with a handful of cash, or just an "understanding".

After transporting Hoffa's carcass across half a dozen states, would some random landfill worker be approached and asked to bury a barrel and then be told that the barrel contained the remains of Jimmy Hoffa?
