I got covid last month. It was bad but not as bad as some flus I’ve had in my life. Now I’m immune and don’t have to worry about the vaccine.
Same here. It wasn't a picnic, but I (and 3 members of my household) came through OK-- in fact we've never felt better. I'm 64 years old, but I'm relatively healthy. If I were in my 80's and had some health issues, I can see having some anxiety about these things. I still wouldn't have gotten the jab, though, on ethical grounds.
My neighbor who is 82 years old and a Vietnam war vet got it last April 2020. There were no beds at county so they have him a number to call and he went back, even collapsing at the bus stop. He wrote his will and just drank orange juice. 3 days later (after just sleeping) his symptoms disappeared and they checked him again, he was negative.
The hospital asked him for plasma but he told them to go F themselves for leaving him to die. All he does really is chain-smoke, listen to Led Zep and call for hookers.
Covid IS the flu. They renamed it.
