Not best restaurants.

Even so… after looking at the pictures… I’d still say there are thousands of quaint inns and taverns that “lovely” that no one has heard of unless they live or work within a half-hour drive.

For example, I live in Bucks county PA, and there are dozens of beautiful eating places along the Delaware river that easily rival the ones pictured.

Sure, a few have been written up and have received national attention - but most aren’t near enough to a big city or tourist attraction and are not known outside a certain range.

Many of them like it that way…a big part of the appeal is the feeling that they are “out of the way”. For me, a big part of the appeal is that the deplorables outnumber the lefties and the lefties mostly keep their mouths shut.

I would imagine it is the same everywhere across rural America.
