GoFundMe absolutely should NOT be forbidding fundraisers for anyone who’s been accused of a crime, as long as legal process in the case (that might ultimately result in the charges being dropped, the accused being found ‘not guilty,’ or a guilty verdict being overruled by a higher court) has not been exhausted. PERIOD.
