Here is Layla at the Crossroads Festival in September, with Eric trading off with 2 of my favorites: Doyle Bramhall & John Mayer.

The Ft. Worth show a week earlier has a better "Layla" overall, but Mayer wasn't there for that; and even though he is only given one pass at it, rips a new one into the traditional interpretations of the mid-section solo. Clapton up next threw the chess game a little bit to preserve Mayer's hot take.
