A few months ago I was at the mall and saw a long line of people waiting to get into the LV store. I took note that NONE of them looked as though they could afford or should be spending money on those higher-end products. And disproportionately darker skinned. Culturally appropriating French fashion.

Beautiful stuff. Amazing prices. And standing in the background were some very alert men in suits who I suspected were ready at a moment’s notice to throw mine or anyone else’s butt out on the street.
If something like this were tried there, they likely would just block all the exits - and they had the muscle on the premises to do it.
