National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases head Dr. Anthony Fauci said Thursday on MSNBC’s “All In” that if you were in a setting where you do not know the vaccine status of people, “then you should be wearing a mask.”

Fauci said, “Well, the situation is — and let’s just take a scenario, you have a family setting. You’re vaccinated. Your family members are vaccinated, and even if the children who are yet too young to get vaccinated, go have an enjoyable Thanksgiving in your home. You don’t need to wear a mask.”
He continued, “The situation is that when you are outside in indoor congregant settings where you do not know the vaccine status of people, then you should be wearing a mask. If you’re in a situation where everybody is vaccinated, then you really don’t need to wear a mask. If you’re at home, that’s the situation. That’s the reason why the CDC says when you’re in congregant settings, and you have no idea who’s around you, there’s no requirement for vaccination. That’s when you need to wear a mask. If you know people are vaccinated, you don’t need to wear a mask.”
Fauci added, “Anybody who starts saying you shouldn’t be wearing a mask because we don’t know if masks work, that’s been put to bed. Masks work, period. There are many studies that now show that. Just like the recent study that has come out from the British study, just literally today it came out

Everyone that I know that got moderate to bad sick, including deaths, were people that had been jabbed, full series. Everyone that iknow that got sick and shrugged it off and had no big deal, were not jabbed. In my world, two dozen known cases, the jabs made things worse.
I had Moderna series and stopped taken weekly ivermectin for a year (lots of publc interaction) Got Covid the first time from vaxxed traveling spouse two months afer series, then again, three months after that.
Not even mentioning the chronic problems from the jabs themselves.
Wear a face diaper. You can feel safe and superior. Masks work as well as the injections.

If your vaccine worked at actually protecting you, you wouldn't need to be concerned about other people.
The (false) implication in Fauci's statement is that un-vaccinated are dangerous and the vaccinated are safe. However, that does not logically follow.
If the vaccinated need to be concerned about getting infected from the un-vaccinated, then no-one is "safe." After all, that vaccinated person you just met might have had a run-in with one of those bad-old un-vaxxed types and now be infected too! ;-/ Ergo, your vax is worthless.
But hey, the sheeple will believe any stupidity Fauci spouts so why not take it to the next logical step? We need a way for the vaccinated to quickly and easily identify each other. Maybe they need to wear some kind of identifying piece of clothing... I know, we could have the vaccinated wear an arm band. Maybe include some kind of logo on it. Meanwhile us bad-old un-vaccinated types could be forced to wear a small badge, maybe a basic, easily recognized geometric shape like a triangle. Yeah, that'll work. In fact I'm pretty sure that's been done before...

What you are witnessing is low-to-mid level bureaucratic warfare with no one in charge.
A lot of mistakes have been made. A lot of false things have been proclaimed as if they were validated by experiment and data.
The good news is that a huge part of the SARS CoV 2 - human interaction story is coming into focus.
The bad news is that every bureaucrat who has said things that are not true in the last 23 months is in danger of exile to the Dreaded Private Sector, where they might have to (Oh God, no!) take care of patients or some such awful fate.
So, you are seeing what happens when adults play musical chairs.

What does not work is defining a primary vaccination series based on a trial that ran for three months and evaluated the endpoint at 144 days, and then saying that persons vaccinated according to the experimental schedule were "fully vaccinated" when it was impossible, by the terms of reference of the study in question, to say that.

His position is diametrically opposed to the truth. IF you’re vaccinated then you’re safe. IF you’re not vaccinated then you should wear a mask if you’re scared. Although, if you did any real science a mask isn’t going to help you.
Fauci, who started the pandemic with the gain-of-function experiment that he funded, is an idiot.
People who have been injected with the poisons labeled COVID vaccines still contract and transmit COVID.
However, he wants people who got injected to still have to wear masks, and to blame those who didn’t get injected for that.
