The state militia is a bunch of middle age overweight bubbas with AR15s who are not allowed to even posses belt fed machine guns let alone carry them openly.

That is an intellectually lazy and racist statement without any basis in fact. If you're trying to prop up your argument, that's a bad way to go about it. Care to post any proof of your assertion?
