Same here. I was in love with Olivia back then and many years afterward. If one of her songs came on the radio or when she was on the TV, I would just swoon and sigh..."Olivia". My wife would just roll her eyes. My kids even laugh at me about my affinity for Olivia. Now it is kind of funny...

Then I found out she was either lesbian or bi. Just damn... what the heck. One can still have their fantasies! BTW... I actually liked Olivia better in Grease as the "goodie two shoes" character. Hot. Don't get me wrong, the pic you supplied is also hot hot hot, but for some reason, I loved the innocent Olivia also.

Poor Olivia. The naive, young Australian girl was asked by Johnny Carson about her clean-cut, goody two-shoes image and she said something like “I’m not as straight as all that” and ever since then some people think she came out as a lesbian or bi on national television. It would be funny if it weren’t so sad. Or maybe sad if it weren’t so funny.

I just looked it up and there were a few instances of innuendo and on one occasion she gave a soulful kiss to her ladyfriend and she said that is the best and no man can beat that.

LOL, you are quick on the uptake. Yes, I broke her heart and wore a hole in a few vinyls too. She was my 1 and only, until I met Crystal Gayle. She dumped me because I wanted to bleach her hair blonde. If she listened to me she would be richer than her sister. Then there was Shania Twain. I couldn’t understand her Canadian accent so I dumped her, and she married this dude actually named Dog. I tried to tell her his name must mean something, but did she listen? NOPE. . . . He turned out to be, you guessed it, a dog.

I’ve met her in meet and greets 3 times. Even prettier in real life. Still a fan of her at 73 years and 3 bouts of cancer and still going strong. I won an auction lot of shoes of hers at her last auction to raise money for cancer research. She obviously likes high heels. If anyone wants a pair you can message me.
