Why won't any of them admit that the Christmas tsunami in Asia is responsible for tons of the debris in the Pacific?

Phuket was about totally wiped off the map and of course it means that mega quantities of stuff from those communities HAD to go somewhere! Any tsunami that kills a quarter million people and destroys their communities washes a lot of 'stuff' out to sea. That's not even considering the Fukushima quake and subsequent tsunami!
