When I saw it in the theater, I thought that “Casino Royale” was far and away the worst movie I had ever seen. Amazingly, a number of top Hollywood personalities including the great Orson Welles were sucked into that fiasco.

In the Bond department, I’d nominate A View To A Kill. I recall my old video movie guide book panned The Man With the Golden Gun (1974), but IMHO that was a decent and watchable one with nice on location photography.

Do you mean the 1967 Casino Royale? That was another film trying to be something different from an actual movie. Somehow the producers got the rights to the book, figured the would make a fortune, and just wanted to have fun. The plot made zero sense, but it was a lot of fun.
