PT Barnum would have loved to play for that community.
Maybe his spirit already is in a way to this day.
40 acres and a mule and a mining server farm..
built on land Bill Gates and China hadn’t bought yet.

could someone elaborate on the benefits of the Wyoming DAO LLC law? I’m not sure I see it as a great benefit, but I also don’t know....

40 acres is pretty small for a city.

I do. It know if that is true.
I’d guess there are categories of crypto that are acquired in other ways.
We have lots of experienced and smart people on the list. Maybe one of them will respond.

It's all huckster. I bet no one involved has spent 10 minutes in Wyoming, let alone spent a winter.

could someone elaborate on the benefits of the Wyoming DAO LLC law? I’m not sure I see it as a great benefit, but I also don’t know.... Only a handful of legal jurisdictions in the world that give legal status to DAOs.
Many are talking about it and working it through.
IIRC, Wyoming only in the USA. Malta and/or Gilbraltar, Zug, Switzerland (Crypto Valley).
Advantages for the organization would involve a legal status in a real jurisdiction and limits on liability.
For Wyoming and others, source of revenue doing something very similar to what they are already doing with their LLC Law. Also, many jurisdictions are vying to become crypto centers/DeFi centers, etc. Providing legal status with limited liability may lead some to establish businesses there.

Everybody understands blockchain, so go ahead, put all your money in Bitcoin.
Also, buy some tulips and send some money to the Nigerian prince.

Everything in this DAO is built in the blockchain, but where there are people there are problems.
It seems in situations like that, you will need a legal jurisdiction to sort out conflicts.
