Seif was his father’s liaison with the Islamists and Muslim Brotherhood. Muamar drove most of them into exile. The few that remained met with Seif on occasion. He has backing from his tribe and from the Sufi tariqas and despite his name would appear to be the most responsible leader Libya could hope for.
