What have the Stones done since 82, all of their albums since then have been mostly forgetable, they just put them out to have an excuse to tour.

Most self-proclaimed Stones fans couldn't name a single song released after 1981's "Tattoo You" without googling something.

I know I couldn't.

I would say that 1978's "Some Girls" was the last of the really good "all the way through" Rolling Stones albums. At that time, even though they were already considered rock dinosaurs, they had been together only about 16 years.

1980s "Emotional Rescue" was the beginning of the downward slide though there were some good songs on that. As for the big 1981 single "Start Me Up" - that is one of the most annoying songs ever. Probably because it reminds me of Bill Gates and Microsoft.
