Maybe they can ban obese people from restaurants and bars. You know for the overall public’s health
My father made the same counterargument to smoking bans in approx. 1977. He said a morbidly obese person might lose their balance and fall on you breaking your arm making them a hazard in public places.
FWIW he was a family physician so he might have had first hand knowledge of such incidents occurring.
