Have you ever seen an ad on any national network (NBC CBS ABC or even MSNBC - created by a major New York ad agency - - that feature unattractive women in cheap clothing who look like a stereotypes of everyone's 'mother-in-law'? Or of woman with uncombed hair?
Or ads that go on and on ;and on...
All giving the message that "FOXNews is second class"...
The message is: IF mainstream companies advertise on FOXNews they'll be identified with poor people.
Whoever is running the ad department for FOXNews is either in on the scam or they're too stupid to hold the job. And no, running ads where the network gets a percentage of sales rater than paying is NOT an excuse.
Try the TV commercial drinking game “FIND THE WHITE GUY!” If a commercial has no white men, or if it does but the white guy is a doofus or a dweeb, then you have to take a shot of your distilled liquor of choice. You’ll be hammered within twenty minutes.

Only if they can unmute the TV while the commercial is on. As soon as the commercial comes on...I hit the mute button...pickup my phone...and read an article at FR. Program comes back on...I reverse the process.
The white guys pretty much are non existent in today’s commercials, in my opinion.
The ones who are shown are made to look ridiculous
The J.C. Penney/Macy ads are at least 75% minority. But what surprises me are the Eddie Bauer/L.L. Bean ads. I had no idea that blacks were such avid outdoorsmen.

While a lot of it is social engineering (the Gillette commercials, boys in dresses, same-sex couples), I think a lot of it is that companies don't want to be bothered with a Twitter-storm of complaints from a bunch of offended snowflakes and just say "oh, eff it just make everybody black".
One of the worst ads I see on Roku is for some HIV/AIDS product with all minority homosexual guys. The main focus is on one with horrid (probably stinky) braids in back, and three piles of dog s**t on top of his head.
I turn the sound off and play with my iPad while the damn things run. 🤪
I’ve had it - already fed up.
We DVR most everything we watch just to fast forward through the commercials. I hate seeing social crap and being lectured to and see a lot of what this British video exposed right here on American tv. Men can’t drive cars now in commercials, strong, happy, prosperous black families along side dufus, ignorant and simple white families without any man present, and white men always silly, childish and buffonish. I despise commercials.
I have never seen anything other than white middle class men trying to break into homes in those commercials.
